Wonolo is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist to join the Central Operations team in a hybrid role with travel to customer sites. You will source, screen, and onboard workers while serving as a local point of contact for customers and Wonoloers, resolving issues quickly and improving processes for placements and shifts.

The role requires proven recruiting experience, strong interview skills, ATS/CMS familiarity, and the ability to travel within the market; bilingual English/Spanish is a

Qualifications

• Proven recruiter experience in-house or agency, or 1+ years in staffing or operations.
• Skilled in conducting structured, competency-based, video and phone interviews.
• Experience with HR databases, ATS and Candidate Management Systems.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights.
• Capable of planning and executing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the market.

Responsibilities

• Bring expert-level outbound recruiting strategies, screening, and onboarding.
• Source candidates via platforms, pools, and events; conduct interviews and document findings.
• Develop job descriptions and specs for accurate role expectations.
• Support Wonolo app and W-2 onboarding, minimizing idle time.
• Act as local contact for customers and workers; resolve day-of issues quickly.
• Travel to customer sites to build relationships and coordinate on-site experience.
• Identify process improvements and track key recruiting metrics.
• Collaborate with Central Operations, Marketing, Product, and regional teams.
