Job summary

Wonolo is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist to join the Central Operations team in Boston. This hybrid role blends hands-on recruiting with day-to-day worker and customer operations, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and acting as a local point of contact for Wonoloers and clients.

You will run interviews, craft job descriptions, support onboarding, monitor placement quality, and travel to customer sites as needed to build strong relationships and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Proven recruiter with in-house or agency background.
• Experience conducting structured, competency-based, and virtual interviews.
• Familiar with HR databases, ATS, and CMS systems.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates via outbound platforms and events; screen and interview.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and interview specs.
• Support onboarding for Wonolo app and W-2 processes; coordinate with onboarding teams.
• Serve as local point of contact for customers and workers; resolve day-of issues quickly.
• Travel to customer locations to build relationships and coordinate with Market teams.
• Identify process improvements and track recruitment metrics to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with Central Ops, Marketing, Product, and regional teams.
