Job summary

Rebuild, an operating system for restoration contractors, is hiring a Talent Lead to build the hiring function from the ground up. You’ll own full-lifecycle recruiting across software engineering and account executives, with scope expanding to additional functions as we grow.

You’ll report directly into leadership, shape our employer value proposition, design scalable processes, and partner with founders to move quickly while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing through close.
• Ability to recruit for both technical and go-to-market roles; comfortable evaluating engineers.
• Experience in a venture-backed startup and external search partners (agency or retained).
• Track record of building or significantly shaping hiring processes, especially early-stage/high-growth.
• Strong employer branding and EVP development to tell the company's story to candidates.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action in a build-it-yourself role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with founders and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Own full-lifecycle recruiting across software engineering and account executives, with growth to other functions.
• Shape and articulate the Employer Value Proposition to attract top talent.
• Build hiring infrastructure from scratch: interview processes, scorecards, workflows.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and founders to understand roles and move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Manage a multi-function pipeline balancing technical and GTM searches.
