Job summary

DeepRec.ai is building its first dedicated recruiter and seeking a founding recruiter to own the talent function from day one. You will design the recruiting motion, build the tracker, and partner directly with the founders to shape hiring across engineering, AI, GTM, CS, and infrastructure.

You will craft interview processes, manage agencies, and close candidates by tailoring narratives to motivations. This is a high-ownership, on-site NYC role with rapid hiring cadence and significant impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recruiting or sourcing experience, in-house or agency.
• Fast, hours not days. No chasing required.
• High ownership; you fix or flag problems.
• Strong outbound instincts, comfortable approaching senior people.
• Comfortable building from ambiguity with no playbook.

Responsibilities

• Own recruiting across engineering, AI, GTM, CS, infrastructure, and domain-expert roles
• Source directly, run the full funnel, manage the tracker and weekly reporting to founders
• Design the interview process: scorecards, loops, feedback discipline
• Manage external agencies and hold them to velocity and quality
• Close candidates yourself by tailoring the narrative to what motivates them
