Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time HR Training Talent Development Specialist to lead course facilitation and manage the LMS. The role focuses on content management, multimedia instruction design, and collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR/talent development or related field, plus 2+ years in instructional design, LMS administration, and course facilitation, with strong adult

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, talent development, organization development, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• APTD or CPTD preferred.
• Minimum of two years in instructional design, LMS administration, and course facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Facilitate New Employee Orientation and development courses.
• Monitor and report on employee course metrics with accurate data.
• Review content and suggest enhancements to improve engagement and retention.
• Apply ADDIE to instructional design and incorporate learning theories.
• Provide technical support for virtual instructor-led sessions.
• Design and develop instructor-led and multimedia instructional content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for content accuracy.
• Evaluate course and program effectiveness using Kirkpatrick levels.
• Evaluate vendor course options for compliance and risk management.
