Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, attract, and identify top-tier candidates across our nonprofit network. The role focuses on building a robust talent pipeline and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-cycle recruiting, strong sourcing skills, and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full cycle recruiting; college recruiting and career fairs preferred
• Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates
• Strong organizational, presentation, and computer skills including MS Office
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local hiring laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting, including interviewing, posting, sourcing, screening, and offers
• Develop partnerships with internal stakeholders and external networks for proactive talent acquisition
• Analyze ATS data and hiring metrics to address barriers and improve processes
• Represent LSSI at recruitment events and job fairs to promote the organization
• Ensure compliance with policies and employment regulations throughout recruiting lifecycle
• Build relationships with universities and associations to attract talent
