Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Inc is seeking a Recruiter for its Brookfield Real Estate Corporate Operations division in New York. The role covers full‑life cycle recruitment across the U.S.

and Canada, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and talent mapping to build high‑performing teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in recruitment, with strong sourcing capabilities on LinkedIn and Indeed, excellent communication, and a collaborative, service‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems; Workday experience is a plus.
• Proficiency sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Agency recruitment experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for Brookfield Properties’ U.S. and Canadian divisions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring manager interviews, gathering feedback, offer preparation, and onboarding.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and support the development of position profiles.
• Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and help facilitate timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
• Utilize proactive sourcing strategies, including direct outreach and talent mapping.
• Maintain and update job postings in Workday (ATS) to ensure accuracy.
• Post opportunities on external platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards.
• Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, professional associations, and post-secondary institutions.
• Support recruitment activities for both internal and external hiring initiatives.
• Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events and job fairs.
• Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
• Support intern recruitment and program-related activities.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and provide high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
• Assist with managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent partners.
