Job summary

Brookfield Properties in New York is seeking a Recruiter to join the Real Estate Corporate Operations team on a 6-month contract. You will manage full-cycle recruitment for the U.S.

and Canada, building high-performing teams across Brookfield’s portfolio. The role partners with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, leads sourcing via LinkedIn and job boards, coordinates onboarding, and contributes to employer branding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems; Workday experience is an asset.
• Proficiency sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for Brookfield Properties’ U.S. and Canadian divisions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring manager interviews, gathering feedback, offer preparation, and onboarding.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and support the development of position profiles.
• Coordinate pre-onboarding and onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and help facilitate timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
• Utilize proactive sourcing strategies, including direct outreach and talent mapping.
• Maintain and update job postings in Workday (ATS) to ensure accuracy.
• Post opportunities on external platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards.
• Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, professional associations, and post-secondary institutions.
• Support recruitment activities for both internal and external hiring initiatives.
• Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events and job fairs.
• Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
• Support intern recruitment and program-related activities.
