Department of Children and Families in Florida is seeking a Hiring Specialist to coordinate high-volume recruitment and full-cycle selection for the ESS program team. The role focuses on posting jobs, screening applicants, and generating reports while ensuring compliance.

Ideal candidates will have HR and data-management experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and willingness for local travel to job fairs. This is a full-time statewide role with a strong emphasis on outcomes and teamwork.

Competenze

• Three years of professional experience in HR, administrative support, record or data management, project management, research, or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds as needed for file management, materials transport, or related tasks.

• Monitor vacancies and manage internal movement processes.
• Create and review job postings and advertisements.
• Evaluate applications and determine eligibility.
• Send candidate pre-screening tests and interview tools.
