Job summary

Foundation Communities is seeking a Recruiting Specialist in Austin, TX to manage end‑to‑end recruitment, coordinate onboarding, and support HR administration. You will partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source candidates, review applications, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

This 100% in‑office role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment within a nonprofit housing context.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Two+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or HR experience preferred.
• Experience with ATS/HR systems; ADP Workforce Now a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage requisitions from intake through offer, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and follow-up.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and qualifications.
• Source candidates through job boards, networks, referrals, and partnerships.
• Present qualified candidates to managers and assist with interviews and offers.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities.
• Maintain timely communication with candidates and managers throughout recruiting.
