Job summary

United Way for Greater Austin is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and HR operations in a collaborative environment.

You will build talent pipelines with universities and community partners, coordinate internship programs, and assist with benefits and payroll processes while maintaining confidential employee records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of HR experience, with emphasis on recruiting and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration preferred.
• Experience working with universities, internship programs, or community partnerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various positions across the organization.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and new-hire paperwork to ensure a smooth experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and community organizations.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, networking functions, and community outreach programs.
• Coordinate internship programs, schedules, projects, and evaluations.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and payroll processing and inquiries.
