Job summary

Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Homeowner Recruitment Specialist in Austin. The role focuses on employer-based workforce recruitment, building partnerships with HR teams, healthcare systems, unions, and educational institutions to create a strong homeowner pipeline.

You will collaborate with Client Services to provide accurate program information, manage lead nurturing, and coordinate outreach materials while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship-building, outreach, recruitment, marketing, or employer relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies with employer partners across Austin Habitat for Humanity’s five-county service area.
• Research, prospect, and maintain employer and workforce partnerships to connect prospective homeowners with the Homeownership Program.
• Build and maintain relationships with employer partners to promote homeownership opportunities via various channels.
• Generate and nurture prospective homeowner leads through partnerships, outreach, events, and referrals.
• Develop lead-nurture activities and follow-up communications to move prospects toward referral to Client Services.
• Coordinate with Client Services to ensure clear handoffs and accurate lead documentation.
