Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of recruiting or Human Resources experience to manage the full recruitment life cycle at MCI.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel off‑site to attract qualified candidates by posting fliers, networking through the community, and attending job fairs.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop new advertising channels, drive employee referral contests, and manage open house events.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support hiring quality candidates in a timely manner, including criminal background checks and drug screens.
- Complete phone interviews, schedule on‑site interviews, and process on‑site interviews.
- Track the hiring process within our system and assist with the development of new recruiting processes and tools.
- Complete data entry in the employee database, manage personnel filing, and maintain employment records.
- Produce daily and weekly reports on recruitment activities and statistics.
- Maintain employee files up to date and organized efficiently.
- Stay current on employment laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with data entry utilizing a computer.
- Fluency in reading and speaking English.
- Wired high‑speed internet connection (download speed of 20Mbps+).
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Typing speed of 20+ words per minute.
- Ability to work regular scheduled shifts within our hours of operation, including the training period.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Windows PC applications and ability to learn new complex computer systems.
- High reliability with regular attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
- Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation.
- Customer‑service orientation (empathetic, responsive, patient, conscientious).
- Ability to multi‑task, stay focused, and self‑manage.
- Strong team orientation and customer focus.

Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in customer service, technical support, inside sales, back‑office, chat, or administrative support in a contact center environment.
- State or Federal work experience.
