Groundworks in Irving, TX is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for our corporate and field teams. You will partner with hiring managers, coordinate events, and build a strong candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience required
• Experience coordinating hiring events, job fairs, or community outreach preferred
• Experience facilitating training or presenting to groups preferred
• HR professional certification preferred, not required
• Proficiency with ATS required; Workday experience preferred
• Proficiency with job boards/sourcing platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter) required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) required
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt recruiting strategies based on business needs and market conditions

Responsibilities

• Owns full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions from intake through accepted offer
• Partners with hiring managers to build strong, collaborative relationships while establishing role requirements, candidate profiles, interview processes, recruiting strategies, and timelines
• Sources and recruits candidates through active and passive methods using tools like Indeed and LinkedIn, managing high-volume requisition loads across multiple roles/locations
• Maintains the ATS with timely updates to requisitions, candidate status, interview notes, and related documentation
• Plans and coordinates hiring events, job fairs, and community recruitment initiatives to build local talent pipelines
• Supports new hire orientation and recruiting-related training for hiring managers and new employees
• Drafts and extends offer letters by next business day; assists with negotiations and tracks acceptance timelines
• Advises hiring managers on recruiting best practices, HR compliance, and company policy
• Partners with recruiting agencies as approved, and provides regular recruiting updates/metrics to stakeholders
• Maintains strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and stakeholders
• Regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day
• Performs other duties as assigned
