The Valley District is seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team in California. You will guide candidates through the full recruiting process—from first contact to licensing and placement—across a growing network of Farmers Insurance agencies.

This hands-on, fast-paced role focuses on outreach, relationship-building, and keeping candidates moving through the process. You’ll collaborate with agency owners, recruiters, and leadership to identify top talent for

• Ability to build relationships and manage multiple candidates
• Comfort with outbound calls and screening phone interviews
• Proficiency with recruiting tools and ATS platforms like Workable

Responsibilities

• Source and connect with candidates through recruiting channels (Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals)
• Review applications and identify candidates matching opportunities
• Conduct high-volume phone screenings and evaluate qualifications
• Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews
• Maintain candidate profiles and interview notes in Workable
• Track recruiting activity, licensing progress, placements, and hires
• Engage strong candidates for future opportunities
• Provide a positive, professional candidate experience
