Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Eastern Drayage is one of the leading import/export logistics providers nationwide. We operate one of the largest drayage fleets across the East and Gulf coast ports with a 3PL arm for areas nationwide where we do not operate our own assets.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various functions of the organization as well as collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and ensure a seamless candidate experience from start to finish. Candidate must have specific experience in the logistics/transportation/supply chain industries to fully understand the roles we are hiring for and to recruit the proper candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
• Assist in the onboarding, training, and first day experience for all new hires
• Assist leadership with tracking KPI's on new hires and oversee new business initiatives
• Source candidates using various platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.)
• Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and present qualified shortlists
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Maintain and track applicant data through our internal systems
• Assist in employer branding initiatives and career events
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in recruiting

Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting (in-house or agency)
• Specific experience in the logistics/transportation/supply chain industries
• Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
