Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruiting and support essential HR functions. You will attract and hire top talent while delivering a positive candidate experience and assist with employee records, benefits coordination, payroll support, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of recruiting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS such as ADP WFN. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruiting experience in various industries; coal, manufacturing, construction, heavy industrial or energy fields is a plus.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and social media marketing/advertising.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support full-cycle recruiting activities and help attract and hire top talent with a strong candidate experience.
• Provide administrative support across core HR functions: employee records, benefits coordination, payroll support, and compliance.
• Demonstrate high accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and timeliness while handling multiple priorities.
• Travel overnight when needed (limited).

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Salary : $60,000- $ 67,000 + 35% Bonus + Generous 401K

This position plays a key role in driving talent acquisition efforts while also providing support across essential Human Resources functions. The ideal candidate will manage and support full-cycle recruiting activities, helping to attract and hire top talent while delivering a positive candidate experience. In addition, this role will provide administrative support across core HR functions, including employee record maintenance, benefits coordination, payroll support, and compliance. Success in this position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and timeliness, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 2 - 5 years’ experience recruiting in a variety of industries. Coal, Manufacturing Construction, Heavy Industrial or Energy related fields is a plus.
• Telemarketing experience or experience with phone solicitation campaigns.
• Experience in full cycle recruiting.
• Experience with social media marketing and advertising.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with presentations.
• Must be able to work with all different personality types.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be dependable and consistently at work on time with work schedule flexibility as required.
• Ability to travel overnight when needed (limited amount).
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems ADP WFN preferred.
• Experience with using MS Excel and Word products.
