Position Summary Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated and talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role contributes directly to our mission by delivering exceptional service and supporting the well-being of our residents, families, and fellow partners.
Key Contributions
- Full life cycle recruitment. Manage and continuously improve the candidate’s experience from initial contact through onboarding, ensuring candidates receive timely communication, professional follow-up, and a positive representation of the Moorings Park brand
- Collaborate and coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop proactive recruiting strategies and determine proper selection criteria.
- Oversee and strategically utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition platforms and job boards to proactively source, identify, engage, and maintain relationships with qualified candidates. Develop targeted talent pipelines and virtual talent benches for current and anticipated staffing needs, monitor sourcing effectiveness, and make recommendations to maximize recruitment outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment trends, labor market conditions, competitor practices, benchmarking data, and key talent acquisition metrics to identify challenges and opportunities and develop recommendations to improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.
- Complete a weekly report with developed action plan recommendations on recruitment activity and other applicable reports/dashboards identifying recruiting internal/external challenges including but not limited to positions open, time to fill, time to start etc.
- Generate and maintain internal and external job postings; determine effective advertising mediums; place appropriate advertisements.
- Make recommendations regarding recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Review, update, and maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment lifecycle stages within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring timely and complete documentation throughout the hiring process.
- Design, maintain, and update job descriptions for all positions and create interview questions that reflect appropriate position requirements.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events in a professional and progressive manner reflective of the Moorings Park brand.
- Develop and maintain recruitment marketing materials and manage careers-focused social media content to promote Moorings Park employment opportunities, culture, values, benefits, and career growth opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, workforce organizations, professional associations, community organizations, and other external partners to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to managers and HR team members regarding applicable talent acquisition systems and processes including interviewing skills.
- Support and assist in developing initiatives and engagement activities that strengthen Moorings Park's culture and values.
- Learning & Development (L&D) support. Serves as a backup and support to L&D initiatives, including:
- oNew hire orientation logistics and content delivery
- oAssisting with internal training programs (e.g., scheduling, material preparation, reports, etc.).
- oMonitoring training completion and feedback in the Learning Management System.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent experience.
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role for a minimum of 3yrs.
- Hands-on experience with full cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
