Job summary

PUC National is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment for teachers, administrators, and classified roles across PUC entities. You will partner with hiring managers, source top candidates, conduct interviews, and extend offers using the HRIS.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of HR recruitment experience; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. Travel to school sites is expected in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional HR recruitment experience preferred.
• Experience with Paycom or ATS is a plus.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a subject matter expert on sourcing and talent acquisition. We are highly motivated by the challenge and success of hiring top talent.***What you’ll need to accomplish:**** Develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and team members to efficiently drive the recruitment process and produce results.* Partner with hiring managers to identify key requirements and set recruitment strategies for all open positions.* Provide superior customer service to candidates and internal and external customers throughout the recruitment process; ensure all verbal and written communications are accurate, clear, concise, and professional.* Manage full-cycle recruitment to include sourcing, screening, and placement of all positions within all PUC entities such as teachers, administrators, and classified positions.* Develop effective sourcing strategies to build pipelines for top-tier talent and attract passive candidates. Partner with all levels of the organization (e.g., Supervisors, Managers, Directors) to assess staffing needs and fill positions in a timely manner.* Screen qualified candidates through resume reviews and phone/web-based interviews.* Coordinate and schedule candidate interview appointments. Conduct interviews with job candidates using phone, in-person, and web-based interview methods to effectively and efficiently qualify each candidate.* Identify and recommend candidates for final interviews.* Provide regular updates to Recruiting Manager and Hiring Managers on recruiting status of open requisitions.* Extend offers of employment to candidates who have been approved and complete the hiring process using the human resources information system.* Conduct professional reference checks and forward to appropriate parties; utilize the human resources information system to submit candidates for approval.* Manage the pre-employment process steps for job candidates.* Work closely with hiring managers to create or refine job descriptions and identify target candidates.
