Responsibilities

• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Builds applicant sources by researching community services, colleges, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by posting advertisements and using job sites.
• Assesses qualifications by interviewing applicants and checking references.
• Coordinates interviews, travel, lodging, and meals; escorts candidates.
• Evaluates applicants with managers against a consistent set of qualifications.
• Manages relocation by arranging housing and coordinating movers.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending policies and highlighting benefits.
• Manages intern program: orientations, rotations, and coaching.
• Ensures compliance by understanding legislation and training managers.
• Updates job knowledge through education and professional networks.
• Contributes to mission by delivering related results as needed.
