Job summary

Heritage Financial Credit Union in Kentucky is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruiting, build college partnerships, and create strong talent pipelines that support growth and community impact.

You’ll lead recruitment events, internships, and partnerships, collaborate with HR on compensation and job descriptions, and ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience in regulated or service-driven environments (financial services preferred).
• Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (Paylocity preferred) and MS Office.
• Knowledge of BSA requirements and strong compliance mindset.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and define recruitment priorities.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including requisitions, sourcing, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and engaging postings.
• Attend job fairs, career expos, and community events to promote the organization.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Support onboarding and HR communications for new hires.
