Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, or business.
• One year of HR experience, or two years of admin HR with Associate's degree.
• Travel: 20-50%.
• Work schedule: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Mon–Fri, with coverage flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Conducts presentations at high schools and technical schools; builds relationships with area schools; attends recruiting events.
• Performs searches for qualified candidates using databases, networks, and referrals.
• Screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel and makes hiring recommendations.
• Interviews applicants for posted and future opportunities.
• Maintains relationships with hiring managers to anticipate current and future needs; participates in staffing meetings.
• Participates in professional and trade organizations.
• Processes candidates after interviews; completes new hire paperwork as needed.
• Guides hiring managers on HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Keeps current knowledge of HR laws, practices, and trends.
