The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to support office-based hiring across multiple business lines in Des Moines, IA. This onsite role collaborates with hiring managers to plan recruiting strategy, manage the full lifecycle, and build strong talent pipelines.

You will source qualified candidates, guide managers on job specs, and ensure a positive candidate experience from outreach to final decision.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or related roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong sourcing and networking skills.
• Experience coordinating with hiring managers and recruiters.
• Experience with campus and career fairs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned to requisitions and business needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on job specs, candidate profiles, and timelines.
• Create and implement tailored recruitment plans across departments.

The Waldinger Corporation is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to support office-based hiring across multiple business lines in Des Moines, IA. In this onsite role, you will work closely with hiring managers to plan recruiting strategy, run the full recruitment lifecycle, and strengthen long-term talent pipelines.

As a key partner to the business, you will source qualified candidates, guide managers on job specifications and selection criteria, and help ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience from initial outreach through final decisions. You will also represent the organization through community and industry events to build proactive benches for current and future staffing needs.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies aligned to assigned requisitions and business unit needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on job specifications, candidate profiles, and recruitment timelines.
• Create and implement tailored recruitment plans across departments and roles.
• Use a variety of sourcing methods to attract high-quality candidates.
• Source strategic or hard-to-fill roles by leveraging passive candidate databases, referrals, and other methods.
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring requirements.
• Attend career fairs, trade shows, and networking events to support proactive recruitment and succession planning.
• Manage the full cycle recruiting process.
• Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions, candidate selection criteria, assessments, and interview guides.
• Support a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely updates, feedback, and ongoing assistance through the hiring process.
• Build and maintain relationships with hiring manager partners, providing guidance on recruitment best practices and candidate evaluations.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
