Job summary

Bowlin Group in Walton, KY is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to manage day-to-day hiring and onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive candidate and new employee experience. This role supports full-cycle recruitment, coordinates all onboarding steps, and partners with hiring managers and the HR team to maintain accurate documentation and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1–3 years in recruitment, onboarding, or related HR functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS & HRIS platforms preferred.
• Must multi-task, adapt quickly, and communicate well with the public, employees, and supervisors.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including requisition intake, job posting, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Draft and update job descriptions and post to ATS and external boards.
• Review applications, conduct phone screens, and recommend candidates to hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews, schedules, and timely follow-up with candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflow in the ATS.
• Coordinate onboarding, ensuring required documentation is completed on time.
• Prepare onboarding materials, schedules, and company introductions.
• Assist with background checks, I-9 verification, and E-Verify submissions.
• Collaborate with IT, payroll, facilities, and leaders to ensure new hire readiness.
• Support hiring managers with recruitment processes and best practices.
