Job summary

GRO Community is seeking a Talent and Recruitment Specialist to drive workforce growth through recruitment, onboarding, and talent development across GRO locations. You will manage job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, background checks, and onboarding coordination, reporting to the Director of HR.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• At least three years of recruitment, talent acquisition, HR coordination, or related HR operations.
• Experience recruiting for multiple locations and building relationships with colleges, workforce organizations, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment for approved vacancies with hiring managers.
• Create, post, update, and close job advertisements across boards.
• Source candidates through outreach, referrals, colleges, and community partners.
• Oversee onboarding milestones, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Travel 40–50% across Ohio and Illinois.
