Overview
Talent Acquisition Manager supporting a private equity–backed manufacturing organization with multiple operating companies and production sites. Responsible for building scalable recruiting infrastructure, aligning talent strategy to value-creation plans, and enabling rapid hiring across corporate, plant, and technical functions.
Core Focus Areas
- Own and optimize the ATS and recruiting tech stack, ensuring visibility, consistency, and reporting across portfolio companies
- Partner with PE sponsors, executive leadership, and HR to translate growth, integration, and operational improvement plans into executable hiring strategies
- Lead recruitment strategy for hourly manufacturing, skilled trades, engineering, operations leadership, IT, and corporate roles
- Design and manage contractor and contingent labor initiatives to support plant expansions, systems implementations, and surge production needs
- Standardize recruiting processes, vendor usage, and compliance across acquired entities while allowing for site-level flexibility
- Provide data-driven insights on hiring velocity, workforce risk, and capacity to support PE value creation and exit readiness
- Multi-site, fast-paced manufacturing organization undergoing growth, integration, and operational transformation
- Heavy collaboration with Operations, Finance, HR, and IT to ensure talent availability aligns with production and EBITDA goals
- Emphasis on speed, scalability, cost control, and accountability typical of private equity ownership
Requirements
- 5+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting Operations experience
- Proven experience owning or administering an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including workflows, reporting, and hiring manager enablement
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute scalable recruiting strategies across hourly, skilled trades, technical, and corporate roles
- Experience managing contractor or contingent labor programs, including vendor coordination and onboarding processes
- Strong partnership skills with HR, Operations, and business leaders to align hiring with production and growth needs
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment, typical of private equity ownership
- Solid understanding of recruiting compliance, employment regulations, and audit readiness
