Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead end-to-end recruiting for manufacturing roles, from trades to leadership. You will partner with hiring managers, proactively source candidates, screen and interview, and coordinate interviews to ensure a positive candidate experience.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of recruiting in manufacturing, strong knowledge of HR practices, and experience with HRIS/ATS systems such as Paylocity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of recruiting practices, interviewing techniques, and employment laws.
• Experience with an HRIS/ATS system; Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience end-to-end recruiting process.
• Experience utilizing Boolean search strings and advanced sourcing techniques across LinkedIn, job boards, social media.

Responsibilities

• Conduct candidate screens and interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates for a positive experience.
• Maintain candidate data in HRIS/ATS; Paylocity experience is preferred.
• Learn company products and processes to discuss them with candidates.

Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play an important role in attracting and hiring the people who keep our manufacturing operation moving forward. The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for managing and supporting the recruitment and hiring process within a manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand their teams, positions, skill requirements, and what success looks like in each role.
• Recruit for a broad range of positions, including Skilled Trades, Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Quality, Supervisors, Manufacturing Leadership, Other technical and professional positions.
• Proactively source and engage candidates rather than relying solely on applications.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for both current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct candidate screens and interviews and provide thoughtful feedback to hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and help create a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting information in our HRIS/ATS; Paylocity experience is preferred.
• Learn our products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and business operation so you can speak with candidates about what we do and why they should consider joining us.
• Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, community outreach, and other talent attraction activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of recruiting practices, interviewing techniques, and employment laws.
• Experience with an HRIS/ATS system; Paylocity experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Comfortable partnering with hiring managers and asking the right questions to understand what they really need in a candidate.
• Previous HR experience or broader HR knowledge
• Experience managing end-to-end recruiting process.
• Experience utilizing Boolean search strings and advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates across LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and web-based platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
• Professional recruiting or HR certifications are a plus.
