DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and early talent strategy. You will support entry-level roles, research outreach ideas, and contribute to resources that improve the candidate and intern experience.

This on-site internship in Thief River Falls, MN includes a capstone project to create a sustainable TA resource, exposure to Workday, Handshake, Indeed, and LinkedIn, with local housing provided.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, employment branding, or early career programming
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
• Positive, customer-first approach when working with candidates, hiring managers, interns, and internal stakeholders
• Tools/Systems/Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Workday, HRIS, SharePoint

Responsabilités

• Support recruiting activities for entry-level positions, including posting roles and candidate communication
• Research emerging recruitment, branding, and talent-pipeline strategies for early career talent
• Gather and analyze internship program feedback to improve future design and resources
• Identify partnerships and channels to strengthen regional talent pipelines
• Analyze data on applicant flow and recruiting outcomes to inform recommendations
• Contribute to resources that improve candidate and manager experience
• Gain exposure to Talent Acquisition tools and systems (Workday, Handshake, Indeed, LinkedIn)
• Note: duties may be reassigned as needed
