Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to gain hands-on experience across the TA function, focusing on entry-level recruiting and early talent strategy. You will support posting roles, screening, and marketing initiatives, with a capstone project supporting DigiKey’s internship goals.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, employment branding, or early career programming
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
• Positive, customer-first approach when working with candidates, hiring managers, interns, and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support entry-level recruiting activities, including posting roles and candidate communications
• Research recruitment branding and talent pipeline strategies
• Analyze internship program feedback and optimize future program design
• Identify partnerships, sourcing channels, educational programs, community organizations
• Analyze data and trends related to applicant flow, recruiting outcomes, and pipeline effectiveness
• Contribute to resources and tools that improve candidate and manager experience
• Gain exposure to Talent Acquisition tools and systems, including Workday, Handshake, Indeed, LinkedIn
• Lead capstone project to create a sustainable resource for DigiKey’s Talent Acquisition function
