Job summary

Mesabi Metallics is seeking an HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support recruiting and HR operations for a growing workforce. The role reports to the CHRO and will assist with sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, onboarding, and HR administration across employee records and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources or administrative support is preferred.
• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting activities (postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, onboarding).
• Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networks, and other channels.
• Conduct initial candidate screens and evaluate against requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and recruiting records in the ATS.
• Assist with job descriptions, postings, offers, onboarding, and HR inquiries.
• Provide administrative HR support and manage confidential employee records.
