Job Title: Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Development

Our client is a leading international law firm providing innovative legal solutions to top financial institutions and Fortune Global 500 companies. They are seeking dynamic individuals committed to service, innovation, and professional growth.

The Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Development, reports to the Washington DC Manager and supports Talent Acquisition and attorney development programs.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
  • Coordinate initiatives such as campus recruiting events, summer associate training programs, social events, and work assignments.
  • Schedule interviews, prepare hiring committees, conduct prospect outreach, and manage social activities for summer associates.
  • Collaborate with lateral and staff talent acquisition teams to onboard talent and work with the global team on firm-wide initiatives.
Talent Development
  • Coordinate local talent development meetings, events, and in-house training programs.
  • Implement firm-wide directives with the global talent development team, including coaching and training programs.
  • Support performance management processes, including assisting with performance reviews and meetings.
Talent Management
  • Support onboarding of new hires, including orientation and communication.
  • Generate reports and provide recommendations using data and databases.
  • Attend events outside regular hours and travel as needed.
  • Handle additional projects as assigned.
Proficiencies
  • Advanced proficiency in English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience coordinating training programs and events.
  • Knowledge of legal recruiting, attorney development policies, and communication principles.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years in human resources, law school career services, attorney recruiting, or related fields (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (required).
