Job summary

Goodwill SWPA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the hiring process from posting to onboarding. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and report to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor.

We seek recent grads with a Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related fields or final-year students ready to start their career. Location: Pittsburgh, PA. External hiring range: $20/hour. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8/9 to 5.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience or related student work experience.
• Associate’s degree in HR or related field with 1 year of experience or internships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree to be completed within a year is eligible for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor candidate progress through each phase of the hiring life cycle, including offers, background checks, and onboarding.
• Investigate inquiries about candidate status across the HRIS + ATS platforms and other systems.
• Prevent new hire stalls with proactive monitoring and actions.
• Ensure applicant status is accurately dispositioned in the ATS.
• Serve as primary contact for hiring managers regarding candidate progress.
• Follow up with candidates for missing or incomplete documentation.
• Maintain compliance by tracking timelines and completion of required checks.
• Prepare and maintain recruitment data trackers and hire reports.
