Job summary

Goodwill SWPA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the hiring lifecycle, partner with hiring managers, and manage pre-boarding and onboarding tasks at our Workforce Development Center in Pittsburgh.

The role emphasizes attention to compliance, data accuracy in HRIS/ATS, and timely candidate communications. Ideal for recent graduates with HR degree or students nearing graduation, with a 20/hour wage and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience. Student work experiences and internships are eligible for consideration.
• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field and one year of relevant experience. Student work experiences and internships are eligible for consideration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; degree that will be completed within a year upon hire is eligible for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor candidate progress through each phase of the hiring life cycle, including offers, background checks, and onboarding.
• Utilize critical thinking to investigate inquiries about candidate status across HRIS, ATS, and related systems.
• Prevent new hire stalls with consistent monitoring and appropriate actions throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure applicant status is correctly dispositioned in the ATS.
• Serve as primary contact for hiring managers regarding candidate progress.
• Follow up with candidates regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
• Audit requisitions and other hiring data points for accuracy and compliance.
