Job summary

Doswell Operating Group is hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support EMC Mechanical Services and other entities in our Richmond, VA area. This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, candidate communications, and onboarding coordination across multiple positions including service technicians and project roles.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong English communication, meticulous record-keeping, and a valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old; no DUI/DWI in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage candidate communications and guide candidates through hiring lifecycle.
• Facilitate pre-employment screening and coordinate new hire paperwork.
• Source candidates via job boards, ATS, referrals, social media, and industry channels.
• Maintain ATS and candidate records with data accuracy and privacy compliance.
• Attend local recruiting events and job fairs, including after hours.
• Schedule interviews and support hiring managers and TA team with admin tasks.

Doswell Operating Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team! The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral role that offers the opportunity to recruit for multiple companies in our organization, interact with applicants throughout the hiring process, and positively impact the success and growth of the organization. This role will focus on the full-cycle recruiting for EMC Mechanical Services, our mechanical contracting company, and recruit for positions including service technicians, project-based roles, and select corporate positions.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Candidate Communications
• Guide, assist, and manage candidates through all aspects of the hiring lifecycle.
• Facilitate the pre-employment screening process.
• Coordinate new hire paperwork and collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to ensure smooth transitions from candidate to new hire.
• Proactively source candidates using job boards, ATS, referrals, social media, and industry-specific channels.
• Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Update and maintain candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with date privacy regulations.
• Works within various systems and databases to actively source and manage applicants/candidates.
• Community Recruitment and Events
• Attend local recruiting events and job fairs, including some after hours.
• Help set up and organize any materials or technology needed for recruiting events.
• Support Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Managers
• Schedule interviews for candidates with hiring managers.
• Assist Talent Acquisition Specialists and Manager by handling administrative tasks.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping skills, as well as a drive for continuous improvement are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to go above and beyond for our team.
• Driving Requirements
• Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license.
• Must have positive points on state driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
• Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
• All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
