Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our growing team in a full-time, permanent internal role. You will leverage sales, recruiting, and customer service experience to support clients and temporary employees.

You will source candidates, screen, interview, onboard, and match skills with client needs while building strong relationships. The role offers growth opportunities in staffing and workforce solutions, with local travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching and retention efforts.
