The Role
Donorbox is looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our small HR team to support recruitment efforts and ensure a positive candidate experience. Reporting to our Senior Talent & People Specialist, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to meet our growing talent needs and contribute to hiring process improvements. As Donorbox expands, you will play a key role in attracting top talent to help us empower nonprofits worldwide.
This is a full-time, remote position requiring 40 hours per week aligned with Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned roles, acting as a key contact for candidates throughout their hiring journey.
- Write and post engaging, accurate job descriptions across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, clearly communicating role requirements and responsibilities.
- Actively source and identify potential candidates through online portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct initial screenings and review applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers via Greenhouse, ensuring a smooth process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and document progress in Greenhouse.
- Build positive relationships with candidates by providing timely communication and addressing questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, gather feedback, and maintain alignment on recruitment objectives.
- Handle administrative tasks, including documentation, offer letters, and legal compliance.
- Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and suggest process improvements.
- Conduct reference checks via phone/email and background checks via Checkr to assess candidate suitability.
- Manage the offer process for assigned roles, including verbal offer calls.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, collaborating with the IT team for a seamless transition.
- Develop and maintain standardized email templates for candidate communication.
- Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and data analysis/reporting.
- Knowledge of onboarding processes.
- Proven ability to proactively source and attract candidates using various tools.
- Experience managing multiple roles in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Bonus
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with international teams and cross-cultural environments.
- Experience with Greenhouse, BambooHR, Atlassian (Confluence, JSM).
- Previous startup and SaaS experience is a plus.
Details
- Fully remote role.
- Candidates must be based in or willing to work in the ET timezone in the US.
- Salary: $60K-$72K USD, depending on experience and location.
