Job summary

Legal Sea Foods in Massachusetts is seeking a friendly Take-Out Associate to handle guest orders by phone and in person, assemble and package meals, and ensure accurate payments. You will operate the POS, manage cash, and maintain courteous communication with guests during high-volume service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience in similar role preferred.
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Assemble and package orders paying attention to packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
• Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit/debit, and digital payment methods.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
