Job summary

Legal Sea Foods is seeking a takeout associate to handle phone inquiries, takeout and delivery orders, and cash transactions with a focus on accuracy and courtesy. You will assemble orders, ensure proper packaging, and assist guests in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and familiarity with POS systems. This position is on-site at our Lynnfield, MA location and may involve working under time pressure during peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Assemble and package orders with care to avoid spills or leaks.
• Process payments for takeout orders (cash, credit/debit, digital).
• Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.

This position handles take-out for our guests; ensures all take-out guidelines, specifications, quality, and service standards are met.
