Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring for a Server - Takeout in Akron, OH. You will ensure guests are served promptly, take and process takeout orders, and guide customers through the menu with friendly, hospitable service.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; must be at least 18 years old and have or obtain a Food Handler’s Card. This role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!
• At least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable, or must be able to obtain card.
• Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.

Responsibilities

• Accommodate guests’ needs in a courteous and timely manner.
• Create a great take out or curbside experience by taking, placing, packaging, labeling, bagging, receiving, and ringing in Guest’s orders.
• Understands the restaurant menu to identify the different menu items for takeout and catering, able to guide guests on choosing menu items, and ready to answer guest’s questions.
• Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
• Uphold our high sanitation and safety standards.
