Southwire Company, a leading wire and cable producer, seeks an entry-level Take Up 3 operator in Carrollton, GA. You will operate a take-up in line with the extruder on an evening shift, read production orders, tag reels, and assist the line operator to meet customer ship-out lengths.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic English, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and following safety and quality procedures. On-site benefits include 401k, health/dental, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Assist with operation of assigned machine.
• Must be able to follow instructions.

Aufgaben

• Perform take up and pay off operations on the line.
• Layer wind cable to customer-specified ship-out length and reel.
• Operate take up and assist line operator with running the machine.
• Change out reels and label reels with tagging system.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
