Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and Tagalog.
• One or more years of interpreting experience.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Background checks and health/immunization may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Tagalog during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and terminology for assigned subjects.
