Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Spanish Onsite Contract Interpreters in the Seattle area to provide accurate consecutive interpretation for on-site assignments and remote calls when needed. You will adhere to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, HIPAA-related standards, and client requirements, with a focus on professional conduct and language proficiency.

This is independent contractor work; you must be 18+, hold relevant credentials, and be able to travel to assignments.

Qualifications

• Fluent/proficient in English and Spanish.
• Experience providing consecutive interpretation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and client requirements.
• Maintain HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA compliance as applicable.
