Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Professional proficiency in English and Tagalog.
Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation.
Successful completion of language/interpreting proficiency evaluations.
Résumé submitted in English during application.
Health and immunization prerequisites may apply by client/location.
Background, security, fingerprinting, and/or drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Tagalog on onsite assignments.
Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and ethics requirements.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data-protection standards (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA).
Interact professionally with clients, patients, and other participants.
Maintain up-to-date language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge.
