Qualifications

• Bilingual English-Korean with professional interpreting experience.
• Consecutive interpretation for onsite assignments.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Willingness to travel to onsite assignments.

• High school diploma or equivalent per client standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Korean during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and client requirements (HIPAA/FERPA/GLBA).
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data-protection requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for assignments.
