Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. seeks a Weapon System Test Engineer to conduct testing of TTWCS software in Dahlgren and at customer sites, with on-site presence required at NSWC Dahlgren and King George, VA.

The role includes testing across configurations and involves collaboration with government personnel, testers, and management. Candidates should have a BS in a STEM field or relevant military experience, with a Secret clearance and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• US Navy operational experience as Fire Controlman/FT with TTWCS NEC preferred.
• Experience with CBT&E methodologies and test frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methods.
• Experience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test tactical weapon systems in various configurations and builds in a lab setting.
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Analyze test data and develop data extraction/reduction for verification.
• Create and maintain TVMs, test plans, and test reports.
• Document issues via CR/PR and verify software fixes.
• Communicate test results and briefs to management and customers.
