Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Huntsville, AL location. The engineer will provide life-cycle network engineering for tactical air defense weapon systems, focusing on LAN/WAN performance, secure data exchange, and COMSEC integration.

The role requires 5+ years in network engineering, DoD security clearance, and strong communication skills to present findings to senior management and stakeholders. U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Hands-on LAN/WAN design, switching/routing, and troubleshooting in defense environments.
• Experience with tactical network solutions and their integration.
• Knowledge of network security, information assurance, RMF/IAVA compliance.
• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide network engineering across life cycle for tactical network capabilities.
• Plan and execute network/data link tests for current and future operations.
• Analyze requirements and manage supplier network solutions for weapon system networks.
• Ensure secure information exchange across classification domains and cross-domain solutions.
• Prepare network findings and improvement plans for management and stakeholders.
