Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Tactical Planner to join our Facilities Building Manager team. You will manage space needs for a defined portfolio and support space planning, maintenance, and construction activities.

Onsite work is required. The role includes developing building management options, validating space layouts, coordinating with architects and engineers, and using Maximo for maintenance requests. A DOE Q-level clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Facility Management, Construction Management or relevant field.
• Experience with CMMS/Maximo/TRIRIGA or similar systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Facility Management knowledge or training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Facilities Area Manager and planners to develop space-management options and solutions.
• Develop scope for labs, offices, storage, and conference rooms based on design basis and occupancy.
• Ensure architectural, HVAC, electrical and communications infrastructure meets customer needs.
• Perform maintenance planning, walkthroughs, and field verification; manage SR scoping in Maximo.
• Schedule Planned and Corrective Maintenance with occupants; ensure work aligns with scope and deadlines.
• Support PREP, F&I, and DOE FIMS plans and analyses; present Plan of the Day/Week when needed.
