Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Development Systems Engineer to support the Naval Aviation Training Programs at Patuxent River, MD. You will perform design analysis, requirements management, and risk mitigation for the Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II), working on secure LVC training solutions on-site.

The role requires a technical BS, a minimum of three years of relevant engineering experience, and a US citizenship with active Top Secret security clearance

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in a related role.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance; TS/SCI eligibility a plus.
• US citizenship required.
• Access to SAP and SCI programs is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• TCTS II design analysis and requirements management.
• Planning and engineering development of complex systems for TCTS II.
• Apply systems engineering methods and tools in development work.
• Oversee SETR events to assess design maturity and readiness.
• Manage Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development and processing.
• Perform risk management activities and track mitigations.
• Identify, formulate, and test practical engineering solutions.
