Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in the field or related area.
• Procurement experience in an MRP environment.
• Analytical, decision making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and possess strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable motor vehicle history for business travel.
• Hair follicle drug test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives for responsible locations.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and services.
• Prepares and processes purchasing orders.
• Maintains cooperative working relationship with suppliers to stay current with trends and technologies.
• Resolves problems arising from purchases with internal and external customers.
• Monitors On-Time Deliveries (OTD).
• Expedite shipments.
• Prepare documentation for Returned to Vendor (RTV).
• Participate in required training and development programs and assist colleagues and management as appropriate.
• Other duties as needed.
