Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado is seeking a Table Games Assistant Shift Manager to supervise a shift in the Table Games department and ensure exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include visiting tables, identifying operational issues, coordinating with Shift Managers on strategy for customer service, games layout, and profitability, and maintaining logs, schedules, and communications on the floor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain Colorado Support Gaming License.
• 1 year of dealing experience preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience a plus.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Strong general mathematical skills.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift; bend and use hands.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and managing daily shift in the Table Games department.
• Interact with guests and team members to promote and facilitate high guest service.
• Identify and correct daily operational deficiencies to improve service.
• Work with Table Games Shift Managers on strategies for service, comping, games layout, revenue and profitability.
• Maintain an active presence on the casino floor during shifts.
• Assist in processing paperwork, logs, schedules, and communications for the department.
